Who is this qualification for?

The Security Future Leaders Programme is tailored for individuals aspiring to enter leadership and management roles in the security industry. This program offers a comprehensive curriculum that equips candidates with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications necessary to excel in the dynamic and demanding field of security management. Through this programme, participants will develop a deep understanding of security strategies, risk assessment, crisis management, and leadership principles. Graduates will be well-prepared to take on supervisory and managerial positions within the security sector, overseeing critical aspects of security operations and team leadership.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL COURSE LOOK LIKE?

Week 1 – General Responsibilities of a Security Manager – Classroom or Online – Full Days

Week 2 – Legislation into Operational Requirements – Classroom or Online – Full Days

Week 3 – Operational Skills of a Security Manager – Classroom or Online – Full Days

Week 4 – Operational Skills of a Security Manager – Classroom or Online – Fully Days

Week 5 – Team Leadership in a Security Environment – Classroom or Online Full Days

ELIGIBILITY  & ID Requirements

Skills Bootcamps are free flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for people looking for a new role or job opportunity.

Once you complete the course, you’ll be guaranteed a job interview with one of our partnering employers.

If you’re self-employed, you’ll be able to use the training to seek new opportunities for your business.

If you’re being supported by your current employer to complete the Skills Bootcamp then you’ll need to demonstrate the opportunity for a new role or new responsibilities.

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

  • Are aged 19 or over (eg Passport / Driving License / Birth Certificate)
  • Have the right to work in the UK (Birth Certificate / Passport / Proof of National Insurance Number / Payslip / Contract of Employment / P45)
  • Live in England (Proof of Address – Bank Statement / Utility BIll / DWP Letter / JCP Letter / HMRC Letter all dates withing the last three months)
  • Meet residency requirements specific to the location you are undertaking your training.

If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits.

Eligibility Details

This Skills Bootcamp programme is fully funded to candidates looking to start their career in the Private Security Sector.

If you are currently working within the Security sector and are being sponsored by your employer to undertake this training, fees may apply:

SME Employers (Less than 250 Staff)
10% Contribution to Overall Cost

Large Employers (Over 250 Staff)
30% Contribution to Overall Cost

Candidates must be 19+ years old at point of enrollment

Candidates must undertake our online initial assessments achieving appropriate results
