JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Salary: £22,500 – £24,500
  • Type: Full Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling commercial training for the security and events sector to businesses and individuals. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, you will work within a sales team to complement and grow our services on a regional and national basis.

Mission Criteria

Success for the Sales Executive will involve consistently meeting and exceeding monthly revenue targets and selling full cost recovery training courses to employers and individuals.  You will bring secure new clients and nurture existing accounts.  You will be expected to maintain a pipeline of commercial revenue for a 3-month period. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients 
  • Record sales activity through our Client Management System 
  • Generate reports on pipeline activity for review by the Business Development Manager 
  • Attend quarterly sales meetings to review activity and contribute to the continuous improvement of our commercial offering 
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients 
  • Quantify sales leads through formal quotations for services 
  • Negotiate and close sales deals 
  • Onboard deals with our training delivery team 
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets in line with company strategy 
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments 
  • Attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and networking events 

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment 
  • Knowledge of the security and events industry is desirable but not essential 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets 
  • Flexibility to travel if required
