Who is this qualification for?

The Event Safety Future Leaders Skills Bootcamp is tailored for those aiming to secure supervisory or managerial roles in event safety. Upon successful completion, you’ll possess the qualifications to excel in event safety management, ensuring the well-being of attendees and staff. You will enhance your skills in planning, coordinating, and delivering safe events in line with industry regulations and best practices. This qualification equips you to oversee event safety teams, manage risk, and respond to emergencies. It also opens doors to careers in event security and management.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL COURSE LOOK LIKE?

Week 1 – 5 – Level 3 Spectator Safety Workshops – Online or Classroom

Week 6 – 8 Work Placement / On-site Assessments / Workplace Mentoring

Part-time attendance is also available to work around work commitments/shift patterns.  Online learning is also available for this Skills Bootcamp.

If you are applying for this Skills Bootcamp as an unemployed candidate or you are currently employed but not operating in the events sector, NGTC will provide you with a suitable work placement to undertake the workplace elements of this training.

If you are employed in the Events Sector at the point of enrolment, NGTC can visit you at your place of work for the workplace elements of this training.

ELIGIBILITY  & ID Requirements

Skills Bootcamps are free flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for people looking for a new role or job opportunity.

Once you complete the course, you’ll be guaranteed a job interview with one of our partnering employers.

If you’re self-employed, you’ll be able to use the training to seek new opportunities for your business.

If you’re being supported by your current employer to complete the Skills Bootcamp then you’ll need to demonstrate the opportunity for a new role or new responsibilities.

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

  • Are aged 19 or over (Proof Required eg Passport / Driving License / Birth Certificate)
  • Have the right to work in the UK (Proof Required eg Birth Certificate / Passport / Proof of National Insurance Number / Payslip / Contract of Employment / P45)
  • Live in England (Proof of Address Required eg Bank Statement / Utility BIll / DWP Letter / JCP Letter / HMRC Letter all dates within the last three months)
  • Meet residency requirements specific to the location you are undertaking your training.

If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits.

This Skills Bootcamp programme is fully funded to candidates looking to start their career in the Event Security Sector.

If you are currently working within the Security sector and are being sponsored by your employer to undertake this training, fees may apply:

SME Employers (Less than 250 Staff)
10% Contribution to Overall Cost

Large Employers (Over 250 Staff)
30% Contribution to Overall Cost

Candidates must be 19+ years old at point of enrollment

Candidates must undertake our online initial assessments achieving appropriate results
